I am an elementary school teacher, and I think that kids can make a big difference in their world. I am going to India in July to study the UN Millennium Development Goals and explore what the MDGs can mean for kids.

The Great Journey to Buddha
Hi, Wimbish Warriors!
On Saturday, I went to Kiti-Kamakura. It is a place outside Tokyo where there are a lot of Buddhist and Shinto shrines. We had to hike up a huge hill for an hour and a half to complete the tour.
I am very afraid of steep slopes and heights, but I went anyway, and I am soooo glad I did! Whenever you are afraid of something, you need to try to face your fear. That' s the only way to get over it and become a stronger person.

This is too cool! In 6th grade we are studying Buddha, Laozi, and Confuscious. We cant wait to hear what you learned! The kids all want you to bring chopsticks. They are all yelling real ones.
